NEW DELHI/MUMBAI, October 21, 2026: The investigation into the firing at Bollywood actor Tiger Shroff’s car in Mumbai has widened, with four more people — including two women — arrested over their alleged role in the network that supplied a weapon linked to the attack.
The latest arrests were made by the Delhi Police Special Cell. The four have been identified as Kunal, 21, Sumit, 19, Radha, 23, and Babita, 23. Kunal and Sumit are from Haryana’s Sonipat district, while Radha and Babita are residents of Uttar Pradesh.
According to the police version, investigators suspect Kunal and Sumit of helping arrange a weapon allegedly meant for those involved in the Mumbai attack. Radha and Babita are accused of assisting in taking the weapon to Mumbai, where it was allegedly passed onward before the firing.
The two women are not accused of shooting at Tiger Shroff’s vehicle. Their alleged role relates to the movement of the weapon, and the exact extent of their involvement remains a matter for investigation and eventual judicial scrutiny.
The four were produced before a court after their arrest. A Mumbai investigation team subsequently sought permission for their formal arrest and questioning in connection with the case. The court allowed the request and granted transit remand for their transfer to Mumbai.
Police are examining whether the four acted on instructions from Anil Pandit, who is suspected by investigators of having links with the Lawrence Bishnoi network. Pandit has also been linked by police to claims of responsibility made after the attack, though the wider gang connection remains part of the continuing probe.
Investigators are now focusing on communications between the accused, the movement of the weapon and whether other people helped arrange logistics before or after the firing.
The latest arrests come after three suspected shooters were earlier taken into custody in Rajasthan’s Kota and later transferred to Mumbai for questioning. Their alleged roles are also being examined as investigators reconstruct the planning and execution of the attack.
The firing took place in Mumbai’s Juhu area on October 18, when assailants targeted a car associated with Tiger Shroff. The actor survived the incident, and police subsequently launched a multi-state investigation to identify those responsible and trace the wider support network behind the attack.
The case has now expanded beyond the suspected shooters themselves, with investigators looking closely at who allegedly arranged logistical support, maintained communication with those involved and assisted before and after the incident.
Police have not yet concluded the investigation, and the arrests do not amount to findings of guilt. The allegations against all those named will have to be established through evidence and the legal process.
