At Geeta Mandir in Model Town, women gathered to listen to the Karwa Chauth Katha and offer prayers to Chauth Mata, seeking the long life of their husbands and happiness, peace and prosperity for their families.

As part of the traditional observance, many women kept a nirjala vrat, abstaining from food and water throughout the day. Devotees participated in the religious gathering and listened to the sacred कथा as part of the festival's customary rituals.

The festive atmosphere was reflected in the preparations made by women and young women, who applied mehendi to their hands and dressed in traditional attire, completing their solah shringar.
